Safety is always our number one priority, and weather conditions play the largest role in hot air balloon safety.
Surface winds should not exceed 7 knots at launch, and and winds aloft should not exceed 15 knots. There must be no rain activity, cloud ceilings below 500 feet, or fog moving into the flying area. We can’t control the weather, so our certified and licensed lead pilot, Dave, makes the final decision whether to fly based on Federal Aviation Administration Regulations.
If we must cancel your hot air balloon flight due to adverse weather conditions, you will not be charged, and your gift certificate will still be honored. We will work with you to reschedule your flight as quickly as possible. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation.
