No experience necessary!

We’re always looking for people to join our ground crew team. We’ll teach you everything you need to know. All we need is for you to show up with a smile on your face, hands that are ready to work, and an expectation of having lots of fun!

The ideal crew member will be able to lift up to 40-50 lbs., be consistently on time at our meeting location in Temple Terrace, have reliable transportation, enjoy early mornings, and be committed to joining our team. It is a bonus if you know our flying area and an extra bonus if you know how to pull a trailer (we can show you how, it’s all about having a sense of adventure and having fun with it, after all!).

Because hot air ballooning is extremely weather-dependent, and we only fly in the morning hours, becoming a crew member is solely a part-time position. We always meet one hour before sunrise (anywhere from 5-6:30 a.m.), and you will usually be finished by about 9:30 a.m. The pilot will discuss payment with you, which includes a base amount plus tips.
